3 Key Steps to Keeping a Clean Home!

As we move into spring, people are looking for ways to stay on top of their house chores so you can do more fun things like: spend time with family doing activities outside, be fully prepared for unexpected company, and bring your A-game when preparing for a showing or an open house when selling!

Here are some small but impactful things you can do everyday! This will help, I promise!

1. Clean Continously

Instead of doing one big clean when you've left it to the last minute, try doing little things throughout the day instead!

Giving your countertops a quick swipe after just cooking a meal, or just grab that duster and give your things a dust while watching your favorite show can really make a big difference. When you do the little things as you go it takes the stress out of things piling up and getting crazy and leaves you prepared to entertain!

2. Declutter!

The more things you have in a home, the more things you literally need to clean! Let's take a second to look at your countertops, and book shelves, and all those things on your coffee table collecting dust ontop of them! It's take to face the facts and purge all those items you have been holding on to but don't love anymore!

You don't have to live in an empty home to keep it flawlessly clean all the time, but if you're having trouble keeping a specific room or a certain area clean regularly, you might want to examine what you can live without and whether there's anything you can remove to make cleaning regularly easier.

3. Before they show up!

If you are tight on time or you just need to pick one more thing to clean, do the floors! Give your space a big vacuum and wipe down those tiles or hardwood floors. Nothing says clean home to a guest like walking into sparkling floors free of pet hair and dust! It's a quick but impactful way to keep things clean!
